Since the early days of NRTW, we have offered scholarships to deserving students pursuing education in the performing arts. These scholarships have been awarded primarily to students affiliated with NRTW.

NRTW Scholarship Policy

It is North Regional Theatre Workshop’s intent to provide financial assistance, when possible, to deserving seniors who choose to continue their education in the Performing Arts.

NRTW provides a scholarship to active members (with at least one year membership in good standing) or members of their immediate families who are pursuing the Performing Arts. These candidates must submit a formal letter to the NRTW Board of Directors stating their intent of continuing their education in the Performing Arts, and how the scholarship is to be used. (All applicants who are re-applying must also submit a formal letter that includes their field of education, accomplishments, grade point average and how they intend to use the scholarship.) This letter should be postmarked no later than March 31 for consideration in that year. The Board will take scholarship applications under advisement.

The monetary amount and number of scholarships offered in a given year will be determined upon the discretion of the NRTW Board of Directors.

All recipients will be asked to submit proof of their continued education before any funds will be disbursed.

The students will be required to submit proof of enrollment
(i.e. receipt of a paid tuition bill) to:

North Regional Theatre Workshop
290  Broadway
Suite 335
Methuen, MA 01844

Upon receipt of a paid tuition bill NRTW will mail the scholarship grant in the form of a check to the student or parent as specified by the recipient.
